Neighbors caring for Balboa Park

Friends of Balboa Park brings neighbors together to maintain, improve, and activate the public spaces we share.

What we are working on

Projects that make the park better

More ways for every neighbor to move, play, and be active.

Supporting access to family swim hours and lessons.

Making the park safer, more useful, and more welcoming.

Linking park spaces, neighborhoods, and transit.

Bringing people together through shared park experiences and stewardship of the park.

Shaping Balboa Park's future, bringing art into the park and balancing activation with nature.
